Actual Event Date: 12/3/12
Time: 7:00pm - 8:00pm

Details:
Golden Belt Home Health and Hospice (GBHH&H) will offer a free community program called “Getting Through the Holidays When a Loved One Has Died.” It is scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3 in the Thelma Faye Harms Room in the basement level of St. Rose Ambulatory and Surgery Center in Great Bend.

Hospice Chaplain John Grummon and GBHH&H Social Worker Cathy Soeken will present the program. Grummon and Soeken also co-facilitate the Hospice Grief Support Group.

“Traditionally,” Grummon said, “the holiday season is a time of family togetherness and joy. Yet, if someone in your life has recently died, the holidays are among the most difficult times.”

This workshop is designed to offer ideas on how to cope with grief during this joyful, yet often painful time of the year, Soeken added.

Pre-registration is not required. For more information about this program, contact Grummon or Soeken at GBHH&H by calling 792-8171.

GBHH&H is part of the St. Rose Ambulatory and Surgery Center family.
